After 9 minutes of play, Sporting Mambo's Harold Engelborgh made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xzavier Espindola was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harold Engelborgh made a kick off. Challestone S.C.'s Xzavier Espindola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffel Weets in the 51st minute of play. Xzavier Espindola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffel Weets went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xzavier Espindola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erick Villaelrriego in the 81st minute of play forced Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Waut Goons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garrido Michelena was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. With his leg Xzavier Espindola managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Sporting Mambo's Harold Engelborgh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yoachim Fondria was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Sporting Mambo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 88th minute of the match, Christoffel Weets tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xzavier Espindola saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Xzavier Espindola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pino Maerschalckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xzavier Espindola came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Mambo's Yoachim Fondria. But to his dismay, Yoachim Fondria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Sporting Mambo played a much better game than Challestone S.C. and deserved their victory. The Challestone S.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
