Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Erik Fransson took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Davi Proença took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Folke Smed to make any attempt to save it. Davi Proença received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Folke Smed came out and tried to block the shot, but Davi Proença slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Glauco de Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folke Smed. Oldham Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glauco de Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 15th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Proença to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Gustavo do Valle hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jimmy Linquist shot a long shot in the 17th minute and a light blocked Luizão Braga hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1. Davi Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Oldham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Erik Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Iuri Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Smed having to interfere. Catugi FC's Luizão Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Hökkvist in the 26th minute of play. Emanuel Hökkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Luizão Braga came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Per-Erik Rydberg. But to his dismay, Per-Erik Rydberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 32nd minute Karl-Erik Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Emanuel Hökkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Luizão Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45thth minute of the game Davi Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oldham Athletic's Folke Smed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Catugi FC's Luizão Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Rydberg in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Oldham Athletic defense, Glauco de Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Smed. The Oldham Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Smed should have stopped the shot. Catugi FC:s Luizão Braga showed great skill when he stopped Jimmy Linquist:s penalty. After 61 minutes of play, Oldham Athletic's Jimmy Linquist made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizão Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl-Erik Fransson took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-5. The supporters of Catugi FC booed when Oldham Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Vedholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Davi Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Per-Erik Rydberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Luizão Braga made a huge save. Luizão Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
