Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Segundo Tab started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cipriano Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Bastia in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute Saturnino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Maore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Defensores del Albinegro's Ariel Iraido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Oscar Taurino got a free kick in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Iraido during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Defensores del Albinegro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godofredo Abeijon in the 27th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ariel Iraido made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Tab to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cipriano Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Eustaquio Irrintzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Albinegro and the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Eustaquio Irrintzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Segundo Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Defensores del Albinegro's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Tab came free, but Cipriano Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Ariel Iraido put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Filomeno Atarrabi. In the 83rd minute Marciano Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Defensores del Albinegro fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.D Atlético Villa Gesell had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
