Radomil Zacharczyk's late challenge caught a Viseu United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomil Zacharczyk helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Zacharczyk. A collision led to WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Stasio Bielenda hit a great ball. Daniel Pimentel, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 13 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Simões. Dobromir Domalik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but António Branco made a huge save. Rui Veiga hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Carlos Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Chlapowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, Viseu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Bentes to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Viseu United's António Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Ziemba in the 30th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Radomil Zacharczyk took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for António Branco to make any attempt to save it. When Tomasz Chlapowski fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's protests and gave Tomasz Chlapowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Tomasz Chlapowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes, Viseu United's Daniel Pimentel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ksawery Karwowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viseu United reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gonçalves in the 43rd minute of play forced WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Ksawery Karwowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Aureliusz Jucha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. Ksawery Karwowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Veiga in the 53rd minute. When Tomasz Chlapowski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 61st minute, Tomasz Chlapowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélio Prada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ksawery Karwowski made a huge save. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Hélio Prada scored to the left of an out of position Ksawery Karwowski, making the score, 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Ksawery Karwowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Prada. In the 75th minute, Norberto Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Ksawery Karwowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Veiga in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Bentes. The crowd rose to their feet as Viseu United's Hélio Prada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ksawery Karwowski. That made the score 2-2 after 84 minutes of play. In the 89th minute of the match Beniamin Miazga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Branco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eurico Bentes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
