Challestone S.C.'s Xzavier Espindola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Hökkvist in the 4th minute of play. Erick Villaelrriego hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Hernandez Callon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Challestone S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oldham Athletic the free kick. After 8 played minutes Challestone S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hernandez Callon. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Karl-Erik Fransson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Xzavier Espindola to make any attempt to save it. Hernandez Callon lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Challestone S.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Challestone S.C.:s Xzavier Espindola showed great skill when he stopped Jimmy Linquist:s penalty. Xzavier Espindola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Erik Rydberg in the 18th minute. Xzavier Espindola made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Emanuel Hökkvist sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Oldham Athletic defense, Erick Villaelrriego kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Smed. The Oldham Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Smed should have stopped the shot. After 29 played minutes Challestone S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erick Villaelrriego. In the 34th minute, Oldham Athletic's Karl-Erik Fransson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xzavier Espindola. Xzavier Espindola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After some careless play in the Challestone S.C. defense, Karl-Erik Fransson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xzavier Espindola. The Challestone S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xzavier Espindola should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Velasco Ezquerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oldham Athletic's Jimmy Linquist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Challestone S.C.. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Naves made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Emanuel Hökkvist made a precise shot to the right of Xzavier Espindola. Challestone S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Karl-Erik Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Challestone S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Max Håning came free, but Xzavier Espindola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Challestone S.C.'s Xzavier Espindola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Rydberg in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Challestone S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Rydberg came free, but Xzavier Espindola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xzavier Espindola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Fransson in the 76th minute of the match. Xzavier Espindola came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Karl-Erik Fransson. But to his dismay, Karl-Erik Fransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Karl-Erik Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Challestone S.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Manuel Asegninolaza hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Oldham Athletic's Karl-Erik Fransson made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xzavier Espindola was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute Max Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavier Espindola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oldham Athletic's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
