Caricancha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Luiz Eduardo Tinoco scored to the left of an out of position Omar Telmo, making the score, 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Caricancha's goalkeeper Omar Telmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Eduardo Tinoco. In the 76th match minute, Caricancha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Millrick might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Gustavo da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorato Millrick ran back to his position shaking his head. Omar Telmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualter Nóbrega in the 98th minute.
