Marcelo Farias started the match with the kick off. Cido Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchor Tebaldo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 7 minutes of play, Defensores de Lombroso's Marcelo Farias made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Facopo FBPA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Damião hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Facopo FBPA defense, Ladislao Cresconio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Cavalcante. The Facopo FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Farias came free, but Cido Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Farias in the 22nd minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Cido Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Felipe Lara came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Facopo FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Lara couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Facopo FBPA's Eriberto Novaes got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 minutes, Marcelo Farias made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Facopo FBPA's Cido Cavalcante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Linhares to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Damião in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Farias in the 60th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Cido Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Cavalcante had great luck who in the 60thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marcelo Farias from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Eugênio Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Barrionuevo having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Defensores de Lombroso's Marcelo Farias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cido Cavalcante. Cido Cavalcante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. When Eugênio Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Facopo FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugênio Campidelis couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Marcelo Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ladislao Cresconio could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Cido Cavalcante however easily saved by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Antonio Napier put in a rough tackle. Defensores de Lombroso's Danilo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Novaes in the 96th minute of play. Defensores de Lombroso's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
