Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Raymundo Dooley made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Alton Tate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Raymundo Dooley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ron Fife. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 16th match minute, Lord of the Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul McPhun to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Woodruff to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Raymundo Dooley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymundo Dooley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ron Fife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Woodruff. Roy Walters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Antoine Maddox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Colin Murphy hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Clinton to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Patrick Dean made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Alton Tate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lord of the Wings the free kick. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alton Tate hit a great ball. When Steven Gilbride fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lord of the Wings's protests and gave Steven Gilbride a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Gilbride didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Lord of the Wings's Patrick Dean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antoine Maddox. Antoine Maddox yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alton Tate in the 74th minute of play forced Lord of the Wings's goalkeeper Ron Fife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raymundo Dooley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Earl Croteau in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ron Fife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes of play, Lord of the Wings's Roy Walters made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoine Maddox was left in no man's land by his defense there!
