Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Granate's Ismael Flores started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ismael Flores came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Granate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Flores couldn't finish the play. Granate's Ismael Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kim Steinthal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Flores in the 9th minute of play. Granate's Agustin Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Thernøe in the 11th minute of play. Ruperto Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Steinthal having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Ali Nordhald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 15 minutes, Ismael Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Ismael Flores left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Agustin Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Thernøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnfred Gerbom got free with Agustin Abastas in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Arnfred Gerbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Elazar took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kim Steinthal. Kim Steinthal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Ismael Flores notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pheonix FC's Kim Steinthal. Kim Steinthal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Ismael Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnfred Gerbom to strike the kick off in the second half. Granate's Ismael Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Granate's Ruperto Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Leo Milandt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pheonix FC and the Granate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Milandt. Ruperto Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kim Steinthal made a huge save. After 63 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nordhald. Kim Steinthal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Roldanillo in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnfred Gerbom in the 67th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Agustin Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Emeterio charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Emeterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Leopoldo Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Granate booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Milandt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Thernøe kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Granate eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
