In the 11th minute, Serafino Botello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Abastas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute Serafino Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ariel Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Roldanillo in the 16th minute. Ariel Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Flores in the 17th minute of the match. Ruperto Roldanillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ariel Hernandez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Francisco Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Agustin Abastas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustin Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Ismael Flores fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granate's protests and gave Ismael Flores a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Flores. When Alejandro Birila came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Amigos Futbol Klub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Birila couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Ismael Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Porfirio came free, but Agustin Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Aires in the 45th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Agustin Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Calisto charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Calisto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Gerardo Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
54 minutes into the match, Granate's goalkeeper Agustin Abastas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Aires. In the 58th minute, Ismael Flores made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Hernandez. Amigos Futbol Klub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Roldanillo in the 62nd minute of play forced Amigos Futbol Klub's goalkeeper Ariel Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Francisco Porfirio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agustin Abastas. Francisco Porfirio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After 71 minutes of play, Amigos Futbol Klub's Francisco Porfirio made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Abastas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Pelagius. Francisco Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Francisco Porfirio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Abastas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. When Alejandro Birila came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Amigos Futbol Klub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Birila couldn't finish the play. Agustin Abastas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Aires in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Amigos Futbol Klub left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Granate.
