Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ismael Flores kicked off to start the match. Agustin Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Olavarria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Ismael Flores elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ismael Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esquipula Unanue was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Lázaro Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esquipula Unanue having to interfere. If Ruperto Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Traspuesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Agustin Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esquipula Unanue came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granate's Valentin Elazar. But to his dismay, Valentin Elazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Flores in the 39th minute of play forced Tapa Red F.C's goalkeeper Esquipula Unanue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Tapa Red F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Roldanillo came free, but Esquipula Unanue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquipula Unanue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Flores in the 47th minute of play. The Tapa Red F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Granate were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Olavarria made the kick off in the second half. Granate's Agustin Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrold Suazo in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Erubiel Maraman hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Tapa Red F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ruperto Roldanillo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Celipe Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Suazo in the 73rd minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Agustin Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerrold Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ruperto Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Esquipula Unanue made a huge save. The Tapa Red F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Granate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
