Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorenzo Olavarria started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Traspuesto got free with Saturnino Romo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 5 minutes Grosso United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celipe Zamarripa who took care of the corner kick. In the 7th minute, Carolo Urbasa made a precise shot to the right of Esquipula Unanue. Tapa Red F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Horacio Procopio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Natalio Peyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esquipula Unanue. Tapa Red F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Peyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Natalio Peyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esquipula Unanue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Godofredo Manny notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tapa Red F.C's Esquipula Unanue. Esquipula Unanue was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 played minutes Tapa Red F.C got a freekick which was hit by Reno Rio. Carolo Urbasa's late challenge caught a Tapa Red F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Urbasa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tapa Red F.C booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tapa Red F.C's Esquipula Unanue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Peyo in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Gaspar Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gaston Traspuesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tapa Red F.C getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Reno Rio hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Urbasa was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Natalio Peyo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esquipula Unanue. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Tapa Red F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrold Suazo to maneuver through the defense. When Tapa Red F.C's Lorenzo Olavarria in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grosso United's goalie prevented a goal. If Natalio Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Carolo Urbasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Esquipula Unanue. The goal made the score 0-5. Reno Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Romo having to interfere. 0-6 became the score in the 80th minute when Carolo Urbasa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Esquipula Unanue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Peyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute Carolo Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esquipula Unanue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Olavarria came free, but Saturnino Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
