An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Foley in the 17th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Urbasa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Saturnino Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Foley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, Grosso United's Natalio Peyo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rhys Whittingham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gone With the Win's Rhys Whittingham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Urbasa in the 29th minute of play. Natalio Peyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rhys Whittingham made a huge save. Freddie Scriven hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Valentin Locaio's late challenge caught a Gone With the Win's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Locaio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Valentin Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lewis Woodhead managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gone With the Win's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Woodhead was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Romo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Gaspar Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Allwright, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Gone With the Win booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 73rd minute Natalio Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Whittingham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Peyo scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rhys Whittingham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Grosso United getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rigoberto Boniel hit a great ball. When Freddy Gurutz fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grosso United's protests and gave Freddy Gurutz a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Grosso United got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Gurutz. 95 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goalkeeper Saturnino Romo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Foley. Many of Gone With the Win's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Gone With the Win may have spent more time on the ball, but Grosso United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
