Witomir Tyskie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Walery Rydzyk charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walery Rydzyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Walery Rydzyk hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Barnabás Kutas came free, but Witomir Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zbigniew Kolba hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Golec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ödön Tóth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Witomir Tyskie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walery Rydzyk hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Radoslaw Rasiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 minutes, Czeslaw Wincek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW and the Green Zombies players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Wincek. Ödön Tóth kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Green Zombies's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
