The supporters of Green Zombies booed when Sporting Club Sicilia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Belardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Gizzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Veres in the 17th minute of play. Ödön Tóth succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 27th minute, Barnabás Kutas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Zombies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gergely Hoffman hit a great ball. A hard shot by Amos Giusto from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Ede Szalontai's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 33rd minute, Barnabás Kutas made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Gizzi. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 40 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Kálmán Veres. In the 42nd match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Bodó to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Scrima to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Armando Falcioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Szalontai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Barnabás Kutas 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6.
