In the 6th minute Jakob Lööf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Szalontai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Richárd Herczegh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ede Szalontai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lööf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Imre Tandori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ede Szalontai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gyula Bodnár hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Adam Rosin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doffes Damer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ede Szalontai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Rosin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Isak Mårtensson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isak Mårtensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Isak Mårtensson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 37th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Ede Szalontai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ede Szalontai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Åke Kleen's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Barnabás Kutas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Doffes Damer booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ödön Tóth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ede Szalontai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Rosin in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Doffes Damer were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakob Lööf to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Adam Rosin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ede Szalontai. The goal made the score 0-2. 58 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rosin came free, but Ede Szalontai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Kihlman kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Gyula Bodnár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Rosin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jakob Lööf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doffes Damer's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Lööf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ede Szalontai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Ottó Veres. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's Ödön Tóth got a free kick in the 80th minute. The long shot by Jakob Lööf in the 81st minute really tested Ede Szalontai's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 83rd minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Ede Szalontai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Green Zombies's Ede Szalontai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Rosin in the 83rd minute of play. The Doffes Damer supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Doffes Damer would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
