Barnabás Kutas started the match with the kick off. Ede Szalontai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Scamacca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sporting Club Sicilia booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bálint Szalai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ede Szalontai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Green Zombies's Ede Szalontai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Allemandi in the 13th minute of play. Ede Szalontai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's Flavio Scrima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ede Szalontai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Sporting Club Sicilia got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Allemandi. Ennio Castellini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ottó Veres in the 18th minute. Ennio Castellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ödön Tóth, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Barnabás Kutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Castellini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Scrima in the 28th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Ede Szalontai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Gianluca Scamacca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Club Sicilia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th minute, Gyula Bodnár made a precise shot to the right of Ennio Castellini. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Barnabás Kutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Castellini made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ödön Tóth sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, Sporting Club Sicilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Scrima to maneuver through the defense. When Flavio Scrima got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Sporting Club Sicilia. In the 44th minute, Gianluca Scamacca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Scrima to strike the kick off in the second half. Ennio Castellini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ödön Tóth in the 55th minute of play. Flavio Scrima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ede Szalontai having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ottó Veres in the 64th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Ennio Castellini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Green Zombies booed when Sporting Club Sicilia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Falcioni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ennio Castellini came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Zombies's Gyula Bodnár. But to his dismay, Gyula Bodnár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 69thth minute of the game Barnabás Kutas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Club Sicilia's Ennio Castellini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Scamacca got free with Ede Szalontai in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ennio Castellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gyula Bodnár, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's Ottó Veres got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Flavio Scrima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Zombies's Ede Szalontai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Amos Giusto got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ödön Tóth hit a great ball.
