After 7 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto de Salles. Cameron Ashley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Koehler having to interfere. If Percival Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Stowe City's Alex Rogers got control of the ball when Percival Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Oranil's zone, Timmy Diggs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Koehler came out of the goal and Timmy Diggs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Bryon Valencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oranil's Percival Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Homer Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Stowe City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Homer Schmidt couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Cameron Ashley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bryon Valencia hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruce Cornell was the one to do the kick off. Alex Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Oranil's Téo Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Cornell in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Cornell in the 58th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Márcio de Azevedo hit a great ball. Cameron Ashley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Téo Koehler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alex Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Soeiro in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Arturo Charles hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Frank Fernandes. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bruce Cornell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stowe City's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruce Cornell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Cameron Ashley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Oranil booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryon Valencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Oranil's Luiz Fabiano Ortiz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Rogers was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Stowe City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oranil.
