Dário Vilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when Percival Simão elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Oranil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gonçalo Soeiro in the 16th minute. Gonçalo Soeiro made a great header on Oranil's corner, it was just that Sporting Tuga FC's Dário Vilar managed to reach the ball for a save. 20 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Bulhosa came free, but Téo Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Percival Simão came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Oranil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percival Simão couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Afonso Bulhosa made the kick off in the second half. Aloísio Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gonçalo Soeiro took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Vilar. Dário Vilar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Dário Vilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Soeiro in the 63rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Dário Vilar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Afonso Bulhosa hit a great ball. Dário Vilar made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Márcio de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Frank Fernandes hit a great ball. Téo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Bulhosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Adão Lucena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Tuga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oranil the free kick. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Adão Lucena hit a great ball. Percival Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Vilar having to interfere. Percival Simãos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Dário Vilar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimiro Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Márcio de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oranil eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
