Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thiago Matorin started the match with the kick off. Afonso Bulhosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Célio Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Adão Lucena charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adão Lucena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10thth minute of the game Cristóvão Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Tuga FC's Dário Vilar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute Thiago Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Vilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Bulhosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Célio Mendonça made a huge save. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alfredinho Alvarenga hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Thiago Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guará FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vicente Cabral hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Afonso Bulhosa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Guará FC's Célio Mendonça. Célio Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afonso Bulhosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Tuga FC's zone, Thiago Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Vilar came out of the goal and Thiago Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Matorin in the 41st minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Dário Vilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Mattos in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dário Vilar prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Cristóvão Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dário Vilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adão Lucena was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Adão Lucena kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sporting Tuga FC's Dário Vilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Tuga FC from getting a goal against them. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guará FC! Jordão Souto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guará FC's zone, Vladimiro Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Mendonça came out of the goal and Vladimiro Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Afonso Bulhosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Célio Mendonça was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Afonso Bulhosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Célio Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordão Souto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sporting Tuga FC's Jordão Souto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Célio Mendonça in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Afonso Bulhosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Célio Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Bulhosa in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Valentim Eanes got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Mattos in the 98th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Dário Vilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guará FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sporting Tuga FC had controlled the match.
