If Youri Lignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Youri Lignon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Alberto Figueira got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ground Control's attentive Sacha Amara managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Sousa made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute of the match, Sylvain Chiffoleau tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dário Vilar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 43 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain Chiffoleau. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Enzo Chagas got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Bulhosa made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Lignon in the 53rd minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Dário Vilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Vilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youri Lignon's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Vladimiro Meireles took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Josselin Portet to make any attempt to save it. Youri Lignon spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sporting Tuga FC's goal. But to his dismay, Just Bazoge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvain Chiffoleau in the 80th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Dário Vilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Albérico Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Tuga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ground Control the free kick.
