Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Youri Lignon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 4 minutes, Youri Lignon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ground Control's supporters crossed their fingers, but Youri Lignon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If DeAngelo Guevara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Youri Lignon took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dillon Yoder. Dillon Yoder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ewan Cuvier fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Ewan Cuvier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ewan Cuvier hit a great ball. The supporters of Ground Control booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeAngelo Guevara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ground Control's Josselin Portet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ground Control from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronan Deal during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Deal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Hadley in the 30th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Stowe City booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Mathevet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stowe City's Leon Hadley shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Josselin Portet but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by DeAngelo Guevara in the 40th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Youri Lignon came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josselin Portet came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Stowe City's DeAngelo Guevara. But to his dismay, DeAngelo Guevara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by DeAngelo Guevara to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ground Control booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sanford Aldrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dillon Yoder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Just Bazoge, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Just Bazoge got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Josselin Portet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from DeAngelo Guevara, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Youri Lignon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dillon Yoder came out and tried to block the shot, but Youri Lignon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. Lyle Dill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Josselin Portet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Ronan Deal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Youri Lignon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Dillon Yoder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 89 minutes, Kamel Beche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ground Control and the Stowe City players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Youri Lignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sofiane Donnat hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Chants of Ground Control echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Stowe City had held the ball for most of the match.
