Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Paulo Furlan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Senna came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Rosa. In the 10th minute Wágner Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brasilino booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Paulo Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute, Pedro Paulo Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasilino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 26 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro de Moraes. The audience was convinced that Pedro Paulo Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Rezende was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 39 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Frank Senna. The long shot by Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves in the 39th minute really tested Humberto Xavier's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half Brasilino were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Asprilla to make the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Wágner Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.A Gryffindor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Pedro Paulo Furlan scored to the left of an out of position Antônio Rezende, making the score, 0-2. When Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the C.A Gryffindor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Faustino Asprilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Humberto Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute of the match Hílton da Silveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Rezende skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende got control of the ball when Pedro Paulo Furlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Faustino Asprilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Wágner Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Antônio Rezende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Pedro de Moraes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Hílton da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes, Wágner Chaves made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antônio Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Furlan in the 91st minute of play. Rafa Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Brasilino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brasilino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
