Christopher Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Salgado having to interfere. Raphael Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Björklund in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Christopher Nyman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raphael Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Luís Guilherme Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Real Matrei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Quadros came free, but Pål Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natanael Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pål Nyman made a huge save. Natanael Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Nyman having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Real Matrei FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Nyman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Real Matrei FC's zone, Luís Guilherme Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Nyman came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natanael Silva took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Nyman. Pål Nyman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Guilherme Quadros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Raphael Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börje Björklund. In the 53rd minute, André Luís Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Östen Hedlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Börje Björklund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luís Guilherme Quadros struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Pål Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belotaurus FC. After a defensive mix-up in Real Matrei FC's zone, Luís Guilherme Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Nyman came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Luís Guilherme Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Belotaurus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guilherme Quadros couldn't finish the play. Real Matrei FC's Östen Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
