When Real Matrei FC's Isac Björk in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A Gryffindor's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isac Björk in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Válbson Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Rafa Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Asprilla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Pål Nyman 19 minutes into the match. Rafa Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pål Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pål Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Asprilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Rafa Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Faustino Asprilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Gryffindor's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Asprilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Nyman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Göransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Ian Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Faustino Asprilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pål Nyman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Göransson was the one to do the kick off. When Martin Göransson came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Real Matrei FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Göransson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Real Matrei FC booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Faustino Asprilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Gryffindor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Asprilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Real Matrei FC's Martin Göransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Rezende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Martin Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Matrei FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Göransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Real Matrei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Diniz came free, but Pål Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro de Moraes. 77 minutes into the match, Martin Göransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Göransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 81 played minutes Real Matrei FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Göransson. Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Martin Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Rezende having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Göransson in the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex França during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute Martin Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
