A collision led to Minotauro getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hermínio das Neves hit a great ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minotauro's Caetano Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Veiga. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Veiga should have stopped the shot. André Luís da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Rafa Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A Gryffindor and the Minotauro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rafa Diniz hit a great ball. Caetano Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves in the 22nd minute of the match. Caetano Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, C.A Gryffindor's Faustino Asprilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Diogo Senna got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Faustino Asprilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. C.A Gryffindor were furious when André Luís da Rocha was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A Gryffindor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Minotauro made a substitution. Guto Abraão replaced João Guimarães. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Asprilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Eger in the 54th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Luís Eduardo Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minotauro and the C.A Gryffindor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Monteiro. In the 71st minute, Abelardo Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Minotauro's Hermínio das Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Rezende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. C.A Gryffindor's Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Guerra came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Luís Eduardo Monteiro got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Minotauro's Severino Guerra in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A Gryffindor's goalie prevented a goal. C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Paraíba in the 95th minute of play.
