The coaching staff of Minotauro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erik Bertassi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Erik Bertassi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Caetano Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Quintal came free, but Caetano Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Luís Eduardo Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
