Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koos Staal to make the kick off. The referee ignored FC Dezassete's protests and gave Nélson Henriques a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Nélson Henriques. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Terpstra in the 64th minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Viriato Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Vilalobos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Nélson Rijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jan Sibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koos Staal went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.
