In the 19th match minute, Supremacy Catania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio De Luca to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Arioli in the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot 34 in the game by Biagio Di Matteo from a close distance when the talented Hílton Luz managed to make a qualified save. Laguna Sunrise FC's players were relieved. With his leg Hílton Luz managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Supremacy Catania FC's Biagio Di Matteo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 42 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goalkeeper Hílton Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Biagio Di Matteo. Biagio Di Matteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hílton Luz made a huge save. Fausto Grande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Biagio Di Matteo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 55 played minutes Laguna Sunrise FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Urbano. Hílton Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Di Matteo in the 60th minute of play. If Jarbas Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Di Matteo came free, but Hílton Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Di Matteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Claudinho Urbano had to leave the field with a concussion. Emiliano Bassani charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Bassani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emiliano Bassani hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Supremacy Catania FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
