Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jarbas Corrêa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Jarbas Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Fontes came free, but Hílton Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felippe Fontes in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimir do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Corrêa in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Landulfos FC defense, Claudinho Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir do Valle. The Landulfos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir do Valle should have stopped the shot. Felippe Fontes had several of the Laguna Sunrise FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Hílton Luz as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Felippe Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Luz was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Vladimir do Valle came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Laguna Sunrise FC's Claudinho Urbano. But to his dismay, Claudinho Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Urbano in the 29th minute of play forced Landulfos FC's goalkeeper Vladimir do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Abel de Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Rui Dante was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Landulfos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Dante. Tarcisio Rezende struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Vladimir do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laguna Sunrise FC. After a defensive mix-up in Laguna Sunrise FC's zone, Waldemar de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Luz came out of the goal and Waldemar de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Gildo Freitas made the kick off in the second half. Christian de Alcântara hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Vladimir do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Urbano went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. If Waldemar de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Felippe Fontes hit a great ball. Vladimir do Valle was a little too slow when Claudinho Urbano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-5. Vladimir do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Urbano went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Conrado Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Laguna Sunrise FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
