A collision led to Laguna Sunrise FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Paulão Rossi hit a great ball. Jarbas Corrêa's late challenge caught a Racing Rocafort C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Racing Rocafort C.F. booed when Laguna Sunrise FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Danilo Jurado got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Nando Cerezo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Gilabert Alonso. Gilabert Alonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conrado Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Hílton Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anaya Colillas in the 32nd minute. Nando Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulão Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilabert Alonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Anaya Colillas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Cerezo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarbas Corrêa to make the kick off. Florinio Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Danilo Jurado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Luz was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Gilabert Alonso made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Nando Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Doriva Cosme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laguna Sunrise FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Rocafort C.F. the free kick. In the 96th minute, Doriva Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
