De Ontembare Leeuwen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnaget United FC the free kick. In the 14th match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rinus Ronde to maneuver through the defense. Otto Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to De Ontembare Leeuwen getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Elco Mulders hit a great ball. Jan Sibon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Donny Hohenstein put in a rough tackle. In the 22nd minute, one of De Ontembare Leeuwen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for De Ontembare Leeuwen. In the 32nd match minute, Gnaget United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Rein Uebels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Wester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Odman in the 40th minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Jan Sibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredric Fågel got free with Jan Sibon in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Algot Hjelm hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Rinus Ronde's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jens Wester - 2-2 was put on the score board in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elco Mulders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gnaget United FC's Jens Wester got control of the ball when Rein Uebels tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mitchell Terpstra kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Gnaget United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Bergman to maneuver through the defense. Elco Mulders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jens Wester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elco Mulders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Wester having to interfere. A collision led to Gnaget United FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Algot Hjelm hit a great ball. Andreas Bergman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Sibon. De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
