The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Téo Maia had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fernando Mangas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Fernando Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Gilabert Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Fontes in the 22nd minute of play. Domenech Taules's late challenge caught a Landulfos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenech Taules helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Landulfos FC booed when Racing Rocafort C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenech Taules didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Waldemar de Sousa got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Felippe Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Danilo Jurado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Landulfos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Dante to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Domenech Taules sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Téo Maia skillfully saved the ball. Téo Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Mangas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felippe Fontes to make the kick off. Fernando Mangas took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo Maia. Téo Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Danilo Jurado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Jurado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Téo Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anaya Colillas in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Araoz Verdeja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Fontes got free with Gilabert Alonso in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute Danilo Jurado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Téo Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anaya Colillas in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Jurado in the 91st minute of play forced Landulfos FC's goalkeeper Téo Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilabert Alonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Landulfos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
