Tomi Pihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Sierocki in the 32nd minute of the match. Husaria Tarnów's Wincent Zbydniowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmo Kaven in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Napoleon Literski suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 35 minutes into the game, Tarmo Heikkinen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husaria Tarnów the free kick. Tarmo Heikkinen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Zuraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Ilmo Kaven made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Tuukka Liimatainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Zbydniowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kasperi Puurula hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Wladyslaw Zuraw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarmo Heikkinen to maneuver through the defense. Tomi Pihlman made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Wlodzimierz Bartochowski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Husaria Tarnów's Bogumil Juchno got a free kick in the 67th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Liverpool FC's Tahvo Seppä tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wladyslaw Zuraw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomi Pihlman having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Wlodzimierz Bartochowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Elmer Harjanne got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Husaria Tarnów booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Harjanne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liverpool FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Wladyslaw Zuraw scored to the left of an out of position Tomi Pihlman, making the score, 0-3. Wincent Zbydniowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuukka Liimatainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
