With his leg Hílton Luz managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Gnaget United FC's Fredric Fågel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute, David Hamberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laguna Sunrise FC's Hílton Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Rosendal in the 35th minute of play. Hílton Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Rosendal in the 39th minute of play. Claudinho Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Wester having to interfere. Hílton Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredric Fågel in the 43rd minute. Nando Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goalkeeper Hílton Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredric Fågel. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel de Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Abel de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Wester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Gnaget United FC's Osvald Nyberg tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Fågel came free, but Hílton Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Laguna Sunrise FC booed when Gnaget United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Hamberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes, Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulão Rossi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens Wester came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laguna Sunrise FC reached it. Hílton Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Rosendal in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Fågel in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Doriva Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laguna Sunrise FC's protests and gave Doriva Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Doriva Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
