Belmiro Baptista started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's Aníbal Branco got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Claudinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Haegg in the 7th minute of play. If Sebastian Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute José Vítor Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmiro Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Belmiro Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Claudinho Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Haegg's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The SALIMEN fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when SALIMEN's José Vítor Paiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Claudinho Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Sillén's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Ingvar Sillén received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinho Teixeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Ingvar Sillén slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when SALIMEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the SALIMEN defense, Sebastian Haegg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Teixeira. The SALIMEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Teixeira should have stopped the shot. If Belmiro Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Sillén made a kick off. Claudinho Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Sillén's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. José Vítor Paiva in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ove Vassenius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. José Vítor Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Sebastian Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ingvar Sillén put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claudinho Teixeira. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's José Vítor Paiva got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ingvar Sillén hit a great ball. Aníbal Branco hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the SALIMEN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SSC Ambrosini.
