Ingvar Sillén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Radomil Smolarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Miromir Mis put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Zarzyk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The referee gave SSC Ambrosini a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alf Kullgren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Zarzyk's Radomil Smolarek. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dariusz Hryc during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alf Kullgren hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Josef Larsfelt hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Rutger Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Söderlund kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dariusz Hryc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Zbyszek Gregorczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Hryc, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Dariusz Hryc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Sillén in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomil Smolarek saved FC Zarzyk from getting behind. Gabriel Bäckström hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Ambrosini's zone, Zbyszek Gregorczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Vassenius came out of the goal and Zbyszek Gregorczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Sillén got free with Radomil Smolarek in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes of play, FC Zarzyk's Zbyszek Gregorczyk made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ove Vassenius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Haegg struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Radomil Smolarek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Ambrosini. In the 83rd minute, Josef Larsfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes FC Zarzyk got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Purzycki. The supporters of FC Zarzyk booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dariusz Hryc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Zarzyk fully deserved thier win.
