After 11 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Siniştean. Aquilino Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute of the match DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a corner. Unicorns ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquilino Rey ran over to the corner to take the kick. Calistrat Mihalcea hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Isac Drâmba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Jorrin. Dumitru Geoană hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Guido Joanes fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DeportivoIndependienteMDP's protests and gave Guido Joanes a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codrin Boc in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvano Abel saved DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting behind. Silvano Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Ţirpescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Petrică Ţirpescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Codrin Boc was the one to do the kick off. Petrică Ţirpescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silvano Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Boc to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Aquilino Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Drâmba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Bastiaro during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petrică Ţirpescu, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67th match minute, DeportivoIndependienteMDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Haitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Petrică Ţirpescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Silvano Abel didn't even have to move. When Unicorns ™'s Calistrat Mihalcea in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored DeportivoIndependienteMDP's protests and gave Dante Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. Dante Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Isac Drâmba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Bastiaro in the 81st minute of play. Calistrat Mihalcea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Abel having to make a save. If Codrin Boc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Unicorns ™ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DeportivoIndependienteMDP.
