DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Silvano Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Seve Higuera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvano Abel, 1-0. When Teo Montes fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aysouraguán's protests and gave Teo Montes a yellow card for diving instead. Baldemer Sevilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Rey's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th of the match, José Santos tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Silvano Abel got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Tomás Haitz got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 30 played minutes Aysouraguán got a freekick which was hit by Seve Higuera. 31 minutes into the match, Aysouraguán's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Rey came free, but Baldemer Sevilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldemer Sevilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Aysouraguán's Baldemer Sevilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Rey in the 40th minute of play. José Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Abel having to interfere. After 46 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Haitz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Aysouraguán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Montes to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Santos during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, José Santos made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Abel. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 72 minutes into the game, Eloy Idiaquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aysouraguán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DeportivoIndependienteMDP the free kick. Seve Higuera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Tulio's late challenge caught a Aysouraguán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Tulio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aysouraguán booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Idiaquez in the 78th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Silvano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, José Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvano Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Tomás Haitz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Eloy Idiaquez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when Aysouraguán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Idiaquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aquilino Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikel Cabrera's late challenge caught a DeportivoIndependienteMDP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikel Cabrera helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aysouraguán getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mikel Cabrera hit a great ball.
