The tension between the Botev Plovdiv 1912 and the Lech Max players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valko Mitin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wachna in the 12th minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Yavor Zehirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mariusz Modliszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yavor Zehirov was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Olaf Mis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bratan Vladikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
