In the 8th match minute, Hisingstads BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noroeste Paulista's Serafim Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Gråberg in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Frédson Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Johansson, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rômulo Nunes took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmie Blomquist. Jimmie Blomquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Hisingstads BK booed when Noroeste Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Hisingstads BK's Herbert Nordin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Gláuber Veloso notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hisingstads BK's Jimmie Blomquist. Jimmie Blomquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Gråberg in the 44th minute of play forced Noroeste Paulista's goalkeeper Serafim Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Noroeste Paulista's protests and gave Marcinho Leite a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half Noroeste Paulista were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Benjamin Johansson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serafim Peres. Noroeste Paulista's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Rômulo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noroeste Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Noroeste Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Veloso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Veloso in the 75th minute of play forced Hisingstads BK's goalkeeper Jimmie Blomquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gláuber Veloso got free in front of the goal in the 75th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jimmie Blomquist was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Noroeste Paulista made a substitution. Alex Godoi replaced Gláuber Veloso. André Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jimmie Blomquist made a huge save. A collision led to Hisingstads BK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Stellan Gråberg hit a great ball. Serafim Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alex Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noroeste Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmie Blomquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
