Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlando Sanduru started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Konrad Karanewski hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Mariusz Modliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Olaf Mis managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when San Martin de Tucumán's Esteban Savier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Esteban Savier got free in front of the goal in the 40th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Olaf Mis was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Beniamin Czciborek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lech Max's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Martin de Tucumán the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Lech Max was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Czciborek to maneuver through the defense.

54 minutes into the game, Mariusz Modliszewski lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Feliciano Chorche.
