Ove Engström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Jimmie Blomquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ove Engström scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmie Blomquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th match minute, Lekparken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Ålberg to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Douglas Hegg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Johnsson. Lekparken FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Hegg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Hegg in the 20th minute of play forced Lekparken FC's goalkeeper Billy Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lekparken FC's Billy Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Gråberg in the 23rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ove Engström sped through Hisingstads BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimmie Blomquist. Jimmie Blomquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ove Engström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jimmie Blomquist made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Hisingstads BK's goalkeeper Jimmie Blomquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilgot Bergkvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Engström got free with Jimmie Blomquist in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vilgot Bergkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jimmie Blomquist made a huge save. Billy Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Hegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredrik Ström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hisingstads BK booed when Lekparken FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Bergkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Reine Ennegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stellan Gråberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jimmie Blomquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Bergkvist in the 63rd minute of the match. Douglas Hegg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hisingstads BK's zone, Ove Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmie Blomquist came out of the goal and Ove Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 played minutes Hisingstads BK got a freekick which was hit by Stellan Gråberg. Billy Johnsson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Benjamin Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Hisingstads BK's Jimmie Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Bergkvist in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Fredrik Ström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmie Blomquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, Hisingstads BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Engström came free, but Jimmie Blomquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilgot Bergkvist took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmie Blomquist. Jimmie Blomquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Billy Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Gråberg in the 88th minute of the match. Billy Johnsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benjamin Johansson. Jimmie Blomquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hisingstads BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lekparken FC.
