The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Délio Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Zé Roberto Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes Tribos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cido Dias who took care of the corner kick. Zé Roberto Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Délio Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tribos's Zé Roberto Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Bertassi in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ronaldinho Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute Délio Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Brodel. With a little luck, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Haroldo Mineiro got control of the ball when Leopoldo do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tarcisio Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Edgard Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Tribos's Kauã Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tarcisio Motta fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tribos's protests and gave Tarcisio Motta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Tribos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Motta to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Tribos's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Bertassi came free, but Zé Roberto Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tribos's Zé Roberto Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Tepedino in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Délio Tepedino was the one to do the kick off. Tribos's Zé Roberto Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Tribos from getting a goal against them. Ronaldinho Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Falcão made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Bertassi in the 63rd minute of play forced Tribos's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play Tribos's Tarcisio Motta was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ booed when Tribos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Tribos's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Délio Tepedino. In the 71st minute, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Marquinhos Bertassi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Zé Roberto Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Zé Roberto Falcão came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Délio Tepedino. But to his dismay, Délio Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 86 minutes into the match, Tribos's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Bertassi came free, but Zé Roberto Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Mendes in the 87th minute of play forced ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goalkeeper Haroldo Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Trancoso hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tribos's zone, Lenílson Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Falcão came out of the goal and Lenílson Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Tribos's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Délio Tepedino. Leopoldo do Nascimento hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Tribos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
