Ovidio Ipar took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adamantios Kokolakis. Adamantios Kokolakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Chrisostomos Patakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gonzalo Darien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roque Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to MELATES F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Giorgos Gontzos hit a great ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Maximiliano Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perico City Grup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Bittor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Chrisostomos Patakos took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gonzalo Darien to make any attempt to save it. Chrisostomos Patakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Darien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chrisostomos Patakos ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonzalo Darien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Patakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stratos Moularas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Darien having to interfere. A collision led to MELATES F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dorotheos Delioridis hit a great ball. After 34 minutes, Maximiliano Bittor made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. MELATES F.C.'s Adamantios Kokolakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Perico City Grup's goal looked a bit too open when Dorotheos Delioridis came free, but Gonzalo Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Perico City Grup's Arturo Sayveon got a free kick in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stratos Moularas during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stratos Moularas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gonzalo Darien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MELATES F.C.. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stratos Moularas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gonzalo Darien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorotheos Delioridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MELATES F.C.'s Chrisostomos Patakos got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Stratos Moularas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gonzalo Darien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ovidio Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of MELATES F.C. booed when Perico City Grup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Moularas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 88th match minute, MELATES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Gontzos to maneuver through the defense. Stratos Moularas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MELATES F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
