The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Villiam Holmberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Sesuldo's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Justo Udalaitz with Fabio Neto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Neto in the 14th minute of play forced HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Villiam Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villiam Holmberg came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by alvarado's Albino Sesuldo. But to his dismay, Albino Sesuldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Villiam Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Matteo in the 20th minute of play. Justo Udalaitz made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristobal Chan immediately put the ball in play. In the 26th minute of the game Raul Aureo made a throw-in which Victor Matteo played forward. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Valter Pedersson hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play HEJA ESLÖV's Valter Pedersson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in HEJA ESLÖV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for alvarado. Marcelo Cresenciano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Villiam Holmberg. 0-4. Justo Udalaitz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Villiam Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Sesuldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, one of HEJA ESLÖV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half alvarado were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Sesuldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, alvarado's Eustaquio Vasco got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Samuelsson came free, but Eugenio Goizeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Vidman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Sesuldo got free with Villiam Holmberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of alvarado booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes, Per-Olof Lidman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HEJA ESLÖV and the alvarado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Per-Olof Lidman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 93rd match minute, alvarado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Chan to maneuver through the defense. Albino Sesuldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Villiam Holmberg made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. alvarado walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
