Thanos Bagasakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Villiam Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Stenqvist hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Stratos Moularas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Dorotheos Delioridis threw the ball into play from the sideline. HEJA ESLÖV's Björn Wallgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. MELATES F.C.'s Alekos Kalikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Vidman in the 20th minute of play. Giorgos Gontzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thanos Bagasakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanos Bagasakos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villiam Holmberg having to make a save. 44 minutes into the game, Stratos Moularas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Villiam Holmberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fred Vidman made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Stratos Moularas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stratos Moularas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Holmberg having to interfere. Stratos Moularas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Alekos Kalikis managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when HEJA ESLÖV's Fred Vidman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Stenqvist couldn't finish the play. Andreas Bengtsson's late challenge caught a MELATES F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Bengtsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. Fred Vidman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alekos Kalikis made a huge save. After 81 minutes, Giorgos Gontzos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MELATES F.C. and the HEJA ESLÖV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of HEJA ESLÖV booed when MELATES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Gontzos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Valter Pedersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villiam Holmberg came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by MELATES F.C.'s Thanos Bagasakos. But to his dismay, Thanos Bagasakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fred Vidman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Alekos Kalikis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. MELATES F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
