Leandro Campelo started the match with the kick off. Hildeberto Lobato charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Andarilhos's Fábio Cesário proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Andarilhos from getting a goal against them. In the 7th match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eren Özduran to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Zarco Moutinho made a precise shot to the right of Şinasi Tanzer. Çanakkale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The nice shot from Sergen İmar in the 20thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fábio Cesário had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Yunus Argun's late challenge caught a Andarilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yunus Argun helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Çanakkale got a freekick which was hit by Yunus Argun. Fábio Cesário made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkut Yasun in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkut Yasun in the 28th minute of play forced Andarilhos's goalkeeper Fábio Cesário to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andarilhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Çanakkale the free kick. Andarilhos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Güven Hüsrev ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Çanakkale's Güven Hüsrev to fire away a dangerous shot which Fábio Cesário despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jacinto Castanheira lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 47th minute, one of Andarilhos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Andarilhos. Fábio Cesário went to the wrong direction when Güven Hüsrev was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The Çanakkale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Andarilhos were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergen İmar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Çanakkale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Şinasi Tanzer was a little too slow when Herberto Vilar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 100th minute. The score was now 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Andarilhos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
