The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervásio Salgueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Squadra de Pippe got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Marini. In the 10th minute, Leandro Campelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Squadra de Pippe getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fausto Del Gatto hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Aparício Pinheiro came free, but Scofield Volante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scofield Volante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarco Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Aparício Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aparício Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aparício Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Antonello Molinari's late challenge caught a Andarilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonello Molinari helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Antonello Molinari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Gaeta charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anfilogino Gaeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leandro Campelo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Scofield Volante. Scofield Volante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Scofield Volante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarco Moutinho in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Campelo made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Fausto Del Gatto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra de Pippe and the Andarilhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fausto Del Gatto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Herberto Vilar came free, but Scofield Volante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Andarilhos's Abel Velasques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Squadra de Pippe's Scofield Volante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Squadra de Pippe from getting a goal against them. Aparício Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Scofield Volante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andarilhos. After a rather tough play, Squadra de Pippe's Anfilogino Gaeta got a free kick in the 68th minute. Fábio Cesário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Gaeta in the 76th minute of the match. Squadra de Pippe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Zarco Moutinho scored to the left of an out of position Scofield Volante, making the score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Andarilhos's zone, Anfilogino Gaeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Cesário came out of the goal and Anfilogino Gaeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Augusto Marini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Cesário saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scofield Volante was a little too slow when Leandro Campelo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Antonello Molinari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra de Pippe's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonello Molinari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Cesário breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scofield Volante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andarilhos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
