The audience was convinced that Tales Paes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Reyes was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Johnny Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Paes in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Renato Pirani got control of the ball when Jack Ocampo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johnny Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durvalino Paes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Cirino Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá got a freekick which was hit by Lino Rangel. In the 32nd minute, Cirino Smith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renato Pirani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cirino Smith showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st play minute Zézinho Machado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Johnny Reyes. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Zézinho Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johnny Reyes. That made the score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Jack Ocampo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Ocampo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 63 minutes on the clock, Lino Rangel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Lino Rangel got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Orlando Mineiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Durvalino Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Johnny Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Segovia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martín Casagrande charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martín Casagrande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Atlético Lea Papá getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Martín Casagrande hit a great ball. Johnny Reyes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Paes in the 86th minute. Cirino Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirino Smith came free, but Renato Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
